We help prevent unintentional childhood injury and death by providing education on car seat installation, distracted driving, as well as car passenger, home, fire, water, cyber, bicycle, and pedestrian safety.
What is Safe Kids?
As a partner of Safe Kids Worldwide, we provide a variety of strategies to prevent childhood death and injury through the following services:
Fire Safety
Training kids how to prevent fires, calmly respond if they are in an emergency, and how to escape when necessary.
Water Safety
Collaborating with community stakeholders to keep kids safe in open water and pools through annual events like ShowMe Water Safety.
Safe Sleep
Providing free training and resources for parents and caregivers through the Missouri Safe Cribs program.
Car Seat Safety
Helping parents and caregivers make vehicles safer for their littlest passengers through car seat checks and hands on workshops.
Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety
Preparing our youngest pedestrians for safe travel on streets and sidewalks in the communities they live in.
Roadway Safety
Working to keep our roadways safe by promoting appropriate seatbelt usage while also preventing distracted driving and driving under the influence.
